We all know what they say " Laughter is the best medicine" Well it may not be the BEST medicine but it is good to do especially if unwell. When it comes to Mental illness's though "talking" IS the best medicine. The best thing you can do is get that problem off your chest. To quote someone else on another forum where i was a member, he said "A problem shared is a problem halved: Well I think that is an excellent saying
When speaking about your mental you must always watch who you are speaking with, Keep in mind that psychiatrists have the power to lock you up for what you say. You may be surprised but that is the truth and like Ice-T said in 1989 and i said elsewhere on this forum"You have Freedom of speech, Just watch what you say!"
If life is getting you down, sometimes all that is needed is to get it out of your system and it doesn't matter how, all that matters is that you do. I have heard of people writing down the crap that bothers them and ceremoniously setting the paper it is written on, on fire. I dont believe this works due to the problem being set ablaze but merely just the action of getting it out of your system is what does the trick. So why not give it a go?
If you dont want to post here anonymously where people may try to help out, just do it that way. You dont need a psychiatrist to listen at all, you just need the universe to listen
This was the main idea behind this whole forum, I was posting elsewhere and encouraging people to open up and get their problems off their chest and then thought that maybe i should make my own forum that specializes in helping people, and here it is.
So get that problem out of your system, wether you type it here or elsewhere on the internet, wether you tell the universe out loud in a secluded place or wether you write it down on a piece of paper and set it alight. Maybe you can think of another way to get it out. I have theories as to why this helps but i have no evidence so id rather not talk about why it may work and just tell you that it does and as soon as you begin you will feel relief which will increase the further you involve yourself into the process.
I would love to hear of others who have tried this or some other way of getting their problems out and how they went about it.
